Sayan Dey

Sayan Dey completed a PhD in English from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and is currently lecturing at Yonphula Centenary College, Royal University of Bhutan. As both contributor and editor, his writing has appeared in edited books, journals, blogs and tabloids, and he is due to take up a postdoctoral fellowship at WITS Centre for Diversity Studies in 2021.

Sayan is working on a monograph entitled History, Myth and Postcolonial Consciousness: Theory and Praxis (Routledge, forthcoming), and his areas of research interest include history, archaeology, everyday decoloniality, sociology, food humanities and race studies.
