Azille Coetzee

Azille Coetzee is ’n postdoktorale navorser by die SARChI Leerstoel vir Genderpolitiek by Stellenbosch Universiteit. Sy het onlangs ’n PhD voltooi aan die Vrije Universiteit van Amsterdam en Stellenbosch Universiteit waarin sy die dekoloniserende krag van feministiese denke uit Afrika ondersoek (ook in dialoog met Europese feministiese filosofie). Haar navorsingsbelangstellings sluit in feministiese filosofie, Afrika-filosofie en dekolonisasie. Haar werk is gepubliseer in verskeie internasionale tydskrifte en sy is die skrywer van In My Vel: ’n Reis (2019), uitgegee deur Tafelberg Uitgewers.

Azille Coetzee is a postdoctoral researcher at the South African Research Chair for Gender Politics, Stellenbosch University. She recently completed a PhD (at the Vrije University of Amsterdam and Stellenbosch University) in which she explored African feminist thought as decolonising force, in dialogue with European feminist philosophy. Her research interests include feminist philosophy, African philosophy and decolonisation. She is the writer of the book In My Vel: ’n Reis (2019), published by Tafelberg Publishers.
